of	our	specific	Cloutier	line	story	from	our	ancestry	beginning	with	Canadian	Cloutiers.	They	are	the	earliest	curr
immigrations	to	the	United	States	and	the	Lowell	area..
	
The	beginning	as	we	know	it
We	begin	our	story	with	a	summary	of	Pre-Canadian	Cloutiers.	The	earliest	recorded	Cloutier,	according	to	current	
a	Brice	Cloutier,	who	is	estimated	to	having	been	born	in	or	about	1479.	He	was	married	to	Jeanne	Cloutier	and	
Mortagne,	 Orne,	 France.	 They	 had	 one	 son	 named	 Nicolas	 Cloutier.	 Nicolas	 is	 also	 said	 to	 have	 been	 born	 an
Mortagne,	Orne,	France.	His	death	is	recorded	as	being	in	1626.	Nicolas	was	married	to	Marie-Anne	Brière	and	they
Perrine	Rousseau	and	Raoullin	Cloutier.	Denis	Cloutier	was	also	born	in	Saint-Jean,	Mortagne,	Perche,	France	abou
Montagne	 France	 in	 1634.	 	 Denis	 and	 his	 wife,	 Marie-Renée	 Brière,	 had	 14	 children	 including	 Michel	 Cloutier;	 Za
