The beginning as we know it
We begin our story with a summary of Pre-Canadian Cloutiers. The earliest recorded Cloutier, according to current
a Brice Cloutier, who is estimated to having been born in or about 1479. He was married to Jeanne Cloutier and
Mortagne, Orne, France. They had one son named Nicolas Cloutier. Nicolas is also said to have been born an
