Gerard Armand Pintal & Marguerite APintal was born in Lowell MA. August 28th 1941. His first-

Lowell. Subsequently the Pintal family moved to Dracut
MA., where he attended St. Theresa’s school. After
graduating from the 8th grade there, “Gerry” went to
Dracut High School where he graduated in 1959. During
his high school years, he worked at various part time
jobs, including, initially at the Dracut Amusement park,
Kennedy’s Butter & Egg store, a bowling alley and
Demoulas’ markets in Lowell & Dracut. During his senior
year at Dracut, Gerry met Marguerite Fitzgerald and they
dated until their marriage in July 1963. Following his
graduation from Dracut High School, he worked at
Raytheon as a Tab Statistical Illustrator. While working
full time, Gerry continued his education evenings at
Lowell Technological Institute and graduated with his
bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Throughout
his working career, Gerry has worked for various high
tech and aerospace companies and traveled around the
globe including Europe, South America and Japan. In
1966, Gerry participated in the design of scientific
experiments used on sounding rockets. Gerry traveled to
